Personal Statement
Hi I'm Kaylen,
I have been swimming competitively for almost four years now. My freshman year I started competing in high school swimming and have been on the varsity team since then. A lot of my time is dedicated to swimming as it is a time consuming sport but I enjoy it and find a way to balance it in my life between school, work and volunteering. Everyday I get up early to train and later train again in the evening, even on weekends. Outside of swimming I enjoy volunteering at animal shelters but recently I have not been able to because of covid but that has not stopped me from finding ways to give back and continuing to practice.
