From a young age I have set my goals high in wrestling and I have worked hard to complete many of those goals. Now I am onto another stage of my goals and I am looking for a D1 college that will help me best to complete those goals. This past year I have moved from Utah to Nebraska, this was a big adjustment but it has given me some skills that I know will help me reach the success I am looking for. I am a 2 time Utah state finalist; runner up 113, 1 time champion and OW at 120, and a Nebraska state placer at 152. I have won Utah’s most prestigious tournament the Rockwell Rumble. In addition, I always push myself in the off season. I've won 4 Freestyle and 4 Greco state titles and have gone undefeated in both styles at the cadet duels.
These successes have not come without hardships and setbacks. Last year I broke my hand 2 weeks before Fargo, and this year I had a huge boil appear the morning of state which led me being forced to medically forfeit my last couple of matches. These experiences have strengthened my resolve to wrestle and compete at the highest levels and taught me gratitude for the opportunities to compete. Academically I have always been pretty sound. I have a 3.95 GPA and was named academic all-state this year. I am now training for this off season to be a national champion. Regardless of when I am able to compete again with covid-19; I continue to train and I will be ready.
