2020 Highlights Personal Statement
Hi my name is Grace and a few of my hobbies are drawing, knitting, and doing Taekwondo. Before I got into swimming. I've been in Taekwondo since I was eight, now I'm a second degree black belt. I grew up understanding perseverance, which is one of the tenets of Taekwondo. I also grew up swimming. I've been in the pool since I could crawl and my mom taught me most of what I know. But I have not swam competitively until high school. And this is when I faced my biggest obstacle. I have exertional asthma. Which means I only gets triggered while I'm exercising. I have medication and inhalers to help me. I love swimming and I want to continue that Journey passed High School.
