Molly Arts '20 Recruiting Profile

My dedication to the sport of swimming was inspired by my cousin who swam at the 1992 Olympic Trials.

With my club team, I push myself to train strenuously and be an encouraging teammate at every practice. I actively listen to my coaches’ instruction to improve my performance in the water. Not only do I swim as an extracurricular activity, but I also have a passion for the arts. I participate in the choir and visual arts program at my school, and I have been requested to sing the national anthem at multiple YMCA National Swimming Championships.

As a dedicated member of the Engineering & Design University Program at my high school, I love to learn and apply my knowledge in group activities as well as individual endeavors.

Community service is of special interest to me as well. During the past five summers, I have taught underprivileged children how to swim, and I volunteer in my community on a regular basis.

I believe I can be successful at a college that challenges me in both academics and athletics.
