I recently participated in the 2024 Speedo Canadian Swimming Championships in Toronto and I am pleased with my overall performance. I have now qualified for 5 events at the Canadian Junior National Team Trials in June 2025. I raced 13 events (8 personal and 5 relay) and had personal bests in 5 personal events. I was able to help ESwim to win the Under-18 National Championship Banner by winning Gold in the 4x100m Mixed Medley and 13-14 Female Medley Relays, Bronze in the 4x100m 13-14 Female Freestyle Relay, Silver in the 50m Butterfly and Silver in the 200m Butterfly.
My personal journey began in a small city in Northwestern Ontario with Coaches David Iwanyszyn and Barry Massaro of the Northwest Narwhal Swim Club who taught me the joy of swimming. I moved to ESwim to continue training at the highest level and have steadily improved my fitness and technique under Coaches Marc Spackman and Darren Ward. It was difficult to adjust to a new life away from home but I have made friends and I am happy that I moved to Etobicoke to pursue my dreams. I finished my Freshman year of High School with a 4.0 GPA and I am interested in studying Medicine to help people when I finish swimming. I am interested in a College or University that is strong in both academics and athletics to help me accomplish my dreams.
