I've been swimming for about 6 years now, although there have been ups and downs throughout my swim career I've never stopped loving swimming. Everything about the sport fits my personality; I'm determined and hardworking, I love to compete, and I love all the amazing people involved in the vast world of swimming.
School and education in general is very important to me. I work hard in advanced classes in hope that I will be able to get ahead of my peers. I am interested in going into either the engineering field or the medical field, there's a good chance I'll mix the two and go into biomedical engineering. Regardless of what I decide to do, I know I'll put my whole heart in it.
Outside of practice and school, although these moments are rare, I enjoy volunteering, drawing, or being with my friends. I love to volunteer and since I'm in Key Club I have more opportunities to do so. Next year I will be able to join the National Honor Society and have even more opportunities to volunteer in the community I love.
My team is very important to me and I love every swimmer on our team. From the newbie 5-year-olds to the advanced 18-year-olds, they're all my family. I am captain of the club team and I try to be as involved with each of our squads as possible.
Thank you so very much for taking the time and learning a little about me!
