Hello, I'm Anneliese Shoudt, and I've been swimming since I was eight years old. I had first started off with just a summer league team, but once I had gotten to high school, I joined the High School teamed and improved greatly from there. In Spring 2019, I joined an all year-round team, Blue Eagle Swim Team. From joining this team, I began excelling in my primary events, with a lot of room to improve, and even in events i was never great at. I'm able to push myself past my comfortability level to achieve my personal goals and better. Swimming has turned me into the person I am today; it has taught me great leadership and motivational skills to help other. In addition, swimming has taught me how to keep my life balanced and healthy. I'm able to have quality grades and be dedicated to a rigorous sport at the same time.
In college, I plan to major in Biomedical Engineering with the goal of achieving my Masters' in that field. In my college swimming career, I aim to get the best experience possible by being able to be challenged by my teammates and opponents.
