Ever since my first practice at the age of seven, I instantly developed a love and passion for swimming. Growing up, I was involved in various sports and hobbies but it did not take long for me to realize that I had a serious dedication to swimming. Starting at Lower Makefield Swim, a summer league team, I was breaking records left and right, which I still hold to this day. Since I developed such a passion for this sport, I decided to continue my swimming career at Tri- Hampton YMCA, where I swim year round, and Villa Joseph Marie High School located in Holland, Pennsylvania, where I am currently a junior.
I believe that I am a dedicated and coachable athlete. One of my favorite things about swimming is not only the reward of accomplishing my personal goals, but to guide my team to achieve our goals as well. These two aspects of this sport give me a drive and motivation to give a hundred and ten percent all the time. Being a team player is essential to me as a swimmer because at times all you need is a boost of encouragement from a teammate to be inspired to reach your goals.
Personally, finding a school that has a great swim program, exceptional academics, and also a spirited environment is very important to me to continue my career as both a student and athlete.
