Millie Slifer '20 Recruiting Profile

I have always enjoyed swimming ever since I was little. I actually didn’t start lessons until I was 8 years old and started on the Malvern Swimming Association at age 10. I am currently in their senior level (level 1) and have been since I was 13. I always strive to get better in technique and believe that if you work hard enough of technique and the little things that the time will come. Currently I am a junior in high school for the 2018-2019 school year. I work hard in my academics while balancing swimming and music. I am on my club and highschool team while playing in the Villa Maria Orchestra and String Ensemble. I always try to contribute a good attitude in everything I do and enjoy seeing my friends and working out with them or playing instruments with them. I put all my effort into something I am compassionate about and I am compassionate about swimming and think I would be a good addition to a college team. Even though I am not as fast as most I definitely have the team spirit needed for a team.
