When I was seated 4th in the 2018 Western Pennsylvania YMCA Districts I went into that race nervous and overthinking my race. That year I went from being seated 4th to placing 12th. After that race i realized that I shouldn’t have let myself get into my head and that I needed to just try my best, So ever since then anytime I see one of my teammates starting to get into their head or be nervous I try and help. Yes I take swimming seriously because it’s something that i’ve always loved to do and always want to do better and push myself. But I need to make sure that my teammates to good as well. So going along with that I also love being social. I never walk away from a practice without a smile off my face. One reason I stayed swimming was because of all the friends I make and the memories I have from the sport. I make sure that i’ll always be there for my team mates in times when i’m needed and when they are feeling down and needing a boost of energy I love to talk and have a good time! For academics I like to try and stay focus and make sure I have good grades in school.
