Mia Ruggiero '21 Recruiting Profile

Swimming is my passion.  Since the age of six, I have never stopped nor paused for a break because I never wanted one, never needed one.  After a hard day at school full of stress and hours of studying, I get in the water and strive to get better because that is my main goal.  When I see that time improvement up on the scoreboard, it fills me with excitement and adrenaline.  Without a doubt, it is the most rewarding feeling in the world. Achieving that feeling keeps me focused on the future and serves as a reminder to balance all of the important parts of my life.  I promise to come to practice, fully dedicated and on my A game each and every day as a reliable and integral team member.  I will not let anything hold me back.
