Winning two PIAA State medals as a freshman and a sophomore have been two of the highlights of my high school swimming career. In addition to the medals that I have won in the 100 Breaststroke, I made finals in all of my individual events and also helped lead my relays to the finals. As a rising junior, I am working toward my goal of top 8 finishes in multiple events, and I am excited to be teaming up with my little sister to bring home some hardware in our relays, as she will be a fast freshman addition to a very good relay team. Family is very important to me, and I am looking for a program that has a family atmosphere.
Each morning this summer at 5:45AM, my sister and I drove 15 miles to practice in an outdoor pool six days out of the week. While most of my friends were sleeping in, I remained focused on my season goals. Just as practice would end, I was off to work teaching swim lessons to 5-years-olds for two hour before starting my lifeguard job. All of my summer has been spent around the water, and I am working hard to give back to younger kids and help others enjoy swimming in a safe and fun environment. My effort, temperament, and attention to detail has been noticed by my boss, the pool manager. He has asked me to be the Head Guard next season. I am not afraid of any challenge, and I always put forth my best effort in everything I do. I am looking for a coach and program that will push me to continually improve in a safe and fun environment.
