Maya Byrne '20 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a college environment that makes me feel excited, energized, comfortable, academically challenged and happy.  I have been swimming for most of my life, and it has really helped keep me grounded.  On a bad day I can get in the pool and leave it all in the pool.  On a good day, well, it is just great to be in the pool.  I cannot imagine NOT swimming in college.  It provides me with balance and structure that makes me a more complete and better person.  i love the feeling of family the team provides.  I appreciate how I can make a difference both with them and for them.  I am looking for an academically challenging environment as well.  I am most happy when i am challenged, so both academically and athletically i am looking for that perfect fit for me.
