Kaylee Williams '20 Recruiting Profile

My goals for college are to swim at the college level and earn a Master's Degree in Occupational or Physical Therapy. For as long as I can remember, I have been a part of a swim team. The relationships that come out of being on a team are so important. I also look forward to continuing to grow my love for swim.  As for academic goals, I plan to earn my Master's Degree in Occupational or Physical Therapy to help those in need.  

As a part of a swim team since I was seven, my team has become my extended family. Many of us have been together since we were beginning swimmers. Now that we are the leaders of the team, we work to help the beginning swimmers love the sport as well. Our team has won the Summer Race League Championships for the past 5 years. I believe that is 100% because of the belief that all swimmers, at all levels, are important to the success of the team. I can bring that same spirit to a college team. 

Finally, one area that makes me different from other recruits is my work ethic. My parents have shown me the importance of working hard and doing your best. I have not missed a minute of school (except excused days for swim meets) since seventh grade. I have also not missed an entire day of school since third grade. Attendance and work ethic makes me very different from many of my high school friends.
