As a Black female, our is important for me to remain focused on my goals, and to walk through life with morals, exhibiting dignity and grace. I intend to acquire a graduate degree in Psychology. One of my goals is to support our youth to ensure their mental health is heard and respected. What makes me different from other athletes? I recognized early there is a margin off high school students who are never given an opportunity to apply for scholarships. Therefore, I created the Calvin Alfred Scholarship to support high school students who have a G.P.A. of a 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. I review, discuss and successfully select award recipients.
