As I have grown in swimming over the past 7 years, I have found that swimming has allowed me to stay involved and express my character to the fullest by stepping into the role of a leader both in and out of the pool. Being a team captain on my high school team has allowed me to encourage others to improve which helps me work as hard as I can whether I am in the pool, weightroom, or classroom. I am passionate about swimming and hope to attend a competitive college. I am excited to see what has yet to come in my high school career, and how I will contribute to a college team in the future.
