I moved to Dallas to attend The Hockaday School and compete with the Dallas Mustangs Swim Club when I was 15 years old. The transition to becoming a boarding student and learning to fit in with a new team was a difficult one, but one that I am glad to have experienced. I currently swim with the Mustangs for 9 months and back with my home town team, the Phoenix Swim Club during the summer. I have not had the opportunity to train year-round consistently, and that is one major advantage I look forward to swimming in college. In my down time, I enjoy reading science fiction and hiking. I would like to study the Classics and History in college, and am looking for a college experiencer where I can take courses in these areas of study while swimming with a competitive swim team.
