Ciyen Gamboa '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Ciyen Gamboa, I am a senior in High school and have been swimming competitively for four years. I grew up in southern California and since a very early age I have loved the water, I was swimming before I could even walk. Swimming has always been intrinsic and a passion for me, I put 110% into everything that I do. To swim at the colligate level is a longtime dream and ambition that I take very seriously and understand the full responsibility and commitment that it takes to swim at the colligate level.

I have impeccable work ethic and am dedicated to all of my commitments. I have swam on a club team and currently swim twice a day in Varsity and Junior Varsity, I am also in the High School Marching band, and I am the assistant captain in Color Guard. I have great time management skills and I continuously learn through hard work and dedication. I am able to accomplish my goals and anything I set my mind to.

I am interested in majoring in Forensic Accounting, Criminal Justice or Psychology and after graduation applying for and working for the FBI. I would like to attend a school that will challenge me athletically and academically, but ultimately will help me grow and develop as a team member and an adult.
