Hello, my name is Avery Dillon. I am a student at Fulshear High School and I swim for a team called Katy Aquatics.
As a dedicated student-athlete, I bring a strong work ethic and a competitive spirit to the pool.
Having swum with both my varsity high school team and my competitive club team, I understand the commitment required to excel both academically and athletically. Alongside my swimming pursuits, I have consistently maintained a position on the A Honor Roll, demonstrating my ability to balance the demands of academics and athletics.
Achieving the title of state medalist in swimming for two consecutive years as an underclassman reflects my drive, determination, and ability to perform under pressure. In addition to the State swim meet, I qualified and swam at Futures Championships and advanced to finals, earning a medal. I am eager to bring my skills, experience, and enthusiasm to my collegiate team, striving for excellence and contributing to a winning culture.
Beyond the pool, I am passionate about giving back to the community. As my Grade Level President of the National Charity League, I have led various philanthropic initiatives, developing a sense of compassion and empathy. I am committed to making a positive impact within the college community and beyond.
In addition to my athletic and leadership qualities, I bring a positive attitude to every challenge. I believe in fostering a supportive and optimistic team environment, where we can push ourselves to reach our full potential.
Being part of an elite collegiate swim team would be an incredible opportunity for personal growth and athletic development. I am eager to learn from a new coaching staff, train alongside talented teammates, and proudly represent my university.
