2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Ever since the start of this 2021-2022 season, my dreams and aspirations to swim at an NCAA college have grown immensely. What seemed to be the longest season last year regarding covid is now starting to wind down, I have learned so much about myself as a person and as a swimmer. From switching back and forth between high school and club, staying humble is the greatest quality you can radiate towards your teammates. as well as showing your love and support. In my last 2 years of high school, I intend to strive as a leader, stay diligent with my school work and stay tenacious regarding swimming, all with a good attitude.

- a single day camp with fellow swimmers of diversity all around north texas. this camp included a practice, that was split up by stroke, an inspirational talk with Olympic swimmer Cullen Jones and questions, and lastly a starts and turns clinic lead by Cullen Jones.

- Sectionals was a great season-ender for 2022. I went a multiple personal best times during this 4 day meet. 200 bk, I was in d final and went a time of 2:03.87, 50 free I went a 25.05 in prelims. I also swam on the 400 Free B relay and went split there fastest i have ever split with a 52.82. I was also on 2 other B relays, the 800 free and the 400 medley relay.

- qualified for state in the 100 bk with a time of 57.39 and seeded 15th. at the end of prelims, I was 13th. after racing in the consultation final I went a personal best time of 56.94 and placed 11th
