I have been swimming since I was six years old when I started on a summer rec team. I decided I wanted to push myself harder and joined the BYUVRays when I was 10. Through hard work and great coaching I set and accomplished a lot of goals. When I was 14 I decided to quit the club team and joined my Pleasant Grove High School's swim team. Through hard work and the support of of my awesome coach I qualified for state in the 50 free and the 100 backstroke as a freshman. I even broke the long standing school record in the 50 free and the 200 medley relay. I continued to qualify for state each year of high school (even with appendicitis, but that's another story).
I am very determined to go to college and study nursing. I love to help others and would love to continue that throughout my life. Lately, I have felt a strong desire to swim long course again I joined Lehi Aquatics club team and look forward to swimming with them this summer.
