Agnese Lasmane '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Agnese Lasmane and I'm from Oakton, Virginia. I'm a mid-distance breaststroke, freestyler, and IMer. I'm excited to continue my swimming career in college and just as excited to continue academically in a major that I am passionate about. I have goals that I am so excited to reach and I hope that I can achieve them by learning and improving with skilled coaches and teammates that will be alongside me throughout college. Moreover, having fun is also very important as a team and being a supportive teammates is something I will always strive to be. In the year of 2021, I've found myself liking mid-distance breast, IM and free instead of sprint events, which makes me really excited to see how I will continue to grow in that aspect. I am also actively learning about the mental aspect of swimming and continue to learn something new about the sport every day.
