Chihiro Bringman '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chihiro Bringman. I have been swimming for a local swim team since I was 8 years old. I can't believe I am graduating in 2024. The swimming has brought me many amazing opportunities and life experiences. No one knew, including myself, how I was going to do with swimming. Today the swimming and I are inseparable, and my desire to swim in college has been getting stronger and stronger. 

I live in a small town in Washington. I go to an AA high school where my sister and I are only the swim team members for the school and belong to a club team which we get 9 hours of practice a week and share a 6-lane-pool with a sports club members. I want do more however with my current situation it is impossible to relocate or change the team, so I have been swimming early AM and weekends as well as strength trainings that are run by the sport clubs. 

I have been taking college classes and I will have AA degree when I graduate from the high school as well. I am interested in Pre-Veterinary Degree, RN, Sports Science and Athletic Trainer. Many people don't know about other side of me but I love singing and I have presented the National Anthem for the meets and other events.

I am ready to join a team where I can challenge myself.  I only know how to work hard.
