I have never loved a sport like I love the sport of swimming. I love everything about it. I love the moments when everything in my body is aching, but I still keep going. I love the adrenaline I get behind the block before a race. I love the second I see a new swim time after a race and knowing that every second of practice was worth all the time and effort I put into getting that time. There is nothing that can replace that to me. My main goal is to find a college that will push me athletically and academically to the next level. That is exactly what I did when I chose my high school. The decision to move to Parkersburg for high school changed my life. I knew when my eighth grade year was coming to end something had to change for me to get to the next level academically. I did not want to leave all of my friends and comfortable life behind at the time, but I chose to go to a new high school with better academic and swim programs that was an hour away from home. It was the right decision, because I became the strong and responsible athlete and person I am today.
