2023 Highlights Personal Statement
I was introduced to swimming when I was in fourth grade because my older sister swam. I joined club swim and I knew from the moment I started I wanted to swim competitively. After swimming through middle and high school, I know I'm ready for the collegiate level of swimming.
I am a highly skilled competitive swimmer with the technique and times needed to swim on a college team. I take pride in knowing that I give my all at every practice and meet. I try to be a very positive, high energy role model to lead the team as captain.
I work very hard to keep my grades up on top of all of my extracurricular activities, which include jazz band, theater and competitive dance.
I really strive to further my education and competitive swimming abilities at a college that suits me, not only to make my friends and family proud, but myself as well.
