Hi! My name is Rachel Stumpf and I am a 5'7" distance swimmer from Wisconsin, although I also compete in IM and backstroke. I have a 4.14 GPA and am currently the top of my class of over 300 students, and continue to challenge myself with the most rigorous courses available to me, including multiple college preparatory and AP classes. I am also a member of National Honor Society, my school's Leo Club, which has a focus on volunteering and helping our community, and am preparing to receive a Global Education Achievement Certificate.
I am looking forward to swimming in college, since swimming is a sport I love and have competed in since I was 5 years old. I aspire to become faster in all my events, and am never satisfied so I continue to work hard and keep a positive attitude. My current goals are to improve in my weaker strokes to help my IM improve, and also to lengthen my under waters and to make my starts more efficient by practicing them often. In college, I am hoping to go somewhere where I will be challenged academically and athletically so I can achieve my goals and become a better swimmer and student. I am not scared of working hard, I enjoy the rigorous training that comes with swimming, and look forward to the challenge of joining a new team!
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile! I hope to be in contact with you soon!
