In my freshman year, I was voted most likely to swim a mile for fun. I enjoy distance events and pushing my own limits both in swimming and academics. I enjoy taking a variety of courses and so far my interests are in STEM with a strong push towards engineering. I enjoy being part of a team while having my own personal goals.
I have embraced my inner nerd and enjoy being in Science club, Sea Perch (an underwater robotics club), Battle of the books, and Engineering club. If I am not in the pool, I most often have my nose in a book and enjoy reading a wide variety of genres.
Embracing who I am, I feel confident that I can grow as a swimmer and as a team member. I am looking to be pushed and challenged, however, it might be tough to completely give up tacos. When I'm in the off season, I love traveling to different parts of Mexico in search of the best street food.
If you are looking for a quirky, hardworking individual- I'm your swimmer, just please don't make me do too much backstroke.
