Personal Statement

I have been swimming since 2008. I began swimming lessons at the age of 6 and I began to start competing at the age of 12. Ever since I started competing, I've wanted to swim as a college athlete. In the classroom, I study hard to achieve the 'A' Honor Roll, receive college credits, and maintain a high GPA.

I'm coach-able, committed, and determined. I am always wanting to learn more. I want my swimming technique to be at its finest so then I am able to compete at my best. I have high expectations for myself and I promise that I will always give my best efforts. I want to have the best experience possible as a college athlete.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and also in the pool. Right now, I am currently starting to narrow down my options and I’m looking to find the college that is going to challenge me, in the pool and out. I want to help be a leader for my team. Not only do I want to push myself to succeed, but I want to help my teammates succeed as well. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile.
