Academics are very important to me, I try to push myself as much as possible by signing up for as many AP and dual enrollment classes as possible. My goals to achieve by the end of my high school career include being an All American swimmer in the 100 fly and the sprint freestyles. Unfortunately, during Conference and State competitions of my Junior year (this year) I ended up swimming with two pulmonary embolisms due to Covid complications, therefore not achieving the goals I had for my high school swim season. I am working on the recovery process, and am ready to come back stronger than ever during USA summer season. In college, with a coach who can push me, I plan to make the Olympic Trial time cuts before my senior year. I haven't been able to come close to my goals regarding swimming yet, but am willing to dedicate a lot of my time and effort to the sport and my academics as well. Swimming is very important to me and I want to pursue it as long as I can, and test my limits.
