Anna Holway '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anna Holway, and I am concluding my Junior year at Florence High School in Florence Alabama where I am a player on the Varsity tennis team. While our season was cut short due to COVID-19, we were undefeated in area, and my personal record was 10-1 in both court 4 singles and court 3 doubles. In 2019, I transferred to Florence from Deshler High School where I was court 1 singles and doubles. I have been on Varsity since 8^th grade, and I have never lost an area match.

              I love competing and enjoy spending time with my team both on and off the courts. I am highly motivated and often organize hitting with my teammates during off season. I am also passionate about my academics, and I have a 4.0 GPA and am taking A.P. classes. My competitive spirit goes beyond the tennis courts; I enjoy culinary and have even competed in a state-wide cooking competition.

              I am looking forward to attending college in the fall of 2021, and I am eager to be a part of a team that pushes me to grow both as an athlete and as a person. I am hoping to major in Accounting. I would love to be a part of a college with great school spirit, and a close-knit tennis team.
