July 2019 Personal Statement
My love for tennis started at a young age and I am committed to working hard and improving. I was named captain of my tennis team my sophomore year. This gave me an opportunity to improve my leadership skills. My goal is to find a college home where I can be part of a team and get the education I desire. I am great strategic player and a quick learner. I have always been a singles player but I am open to being part of a double team. I push myself to be the best student and athlete that I can be. As a sophomore I also began an internship at Pediatrics Plus Mental Health and Counseling center. I have learned to balance school, tennis, social life, and family.
