Ashley Becker-Ursini '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a naturally right handed, however I play Tennis as dominant left hander.  I am currently a Sophomore at Roosevelt High School in Eastvale, CA.  I am the #1 singles player.  I have also received the team MVP.  I am currently 5'9" 130lbs.  I also am training with my personal coaches outside of school every Saturday and Sunday and every off day of High School practice.  I am currently training with my personal Coach to start USTA Tournaments as both a singles player and doubles player with my partner I have been practicing with for 6 months. 

I am a 3 sport athlete for my Freshman and Sophomore years.  I am on the High School Soccer team, as well as Track and Field & Cross County.  My Junior 2018-2019 I will just be playing and training on tennis to focus all my time and energy on school and tennis,  as my priority and my goal is to pursue a scholarship in tennis. 

I have the full support of my family and coaching staff to provide me everything I need to obtain my goals.  Both my Coach have supported and endorsed me as well and will be pushing me every step of the way to achieve more.

She's a winner, other teammates look up to her. She's a natural leader who has never "called out" another teammate, and has helped me as a coach to motivate and inspire our team. Ashley has a very good tennis game, with solid foundations in her service game, return of serve, ground strokes, and more importantly the ability to create and hit "winners" for points. Ashley is also very talented in Soccer and Cross Country. Ashley will only get better because of her relentless work ethic and I expect great things from her next season in tennis."
