Personal Statement
It has been my dream ever since I was a little girl to play tennis at an amazing college. I believe I am a good candidate for the team because I have the dedication, discipline, and hard-working mindset to do what it takes to be the best player I can be. I pride myself on my academic and athletic abilities as I have worked hard to get to where I am today. Being a student-athlete for so long, I possess good time-management skills and set designated times for school, tennis, training, and rest. I have the ability to work with others and figure things out on my own. I try my best to remain coachable when times get tough or when I don't necessarily want to "hear it". I know that in the moment, it's good for me to remain open-minded yet confident in my abilities to improve.
