Kendall McDermott '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing tennis for 8+ years and continue to love everything about it.  I am eager to play competitively on a Varsity, JV or Club Team at an academically-rigorous school.  Although I haven't focused on USTA tournament play during high school, I play multiple times a week and compete with my school team where I have played #1 Singles for three years and served as Captain for the last two.  Last year, our team was undefeated. Unfortunately, my school is new and our team wasn't registered officially until September 2019.  I take my academic studies very seriously and juggle my love of tennis with my interest in directing/producing theater productions. I approach tennis the same way I do my studies -- with passion, enthusiasm, a constant desire to improve and a willingness to work hard.  Please take a look at my video.
