My name is Ameera Malik and I am class of 2023, I plan to Major In Computer engineering. My collegiate goals are playing at high-level Division I or II colleges. I am from Washington Dc and I've been playing tennis since I was three years old. Currently, I am playing my first year of Varsity HS tennis at Elizabeth Seton High School. Tennis is one of my favorite sports since it allows me to unwind and express myself. Because I am dependable, hardworking, and determined, I believe I will be an excellent fit for a college team. I adore making jewelry and outfits when I'm not playing tennis, and I also enjoy giving back to my community. Under the Next Level Tennis and Education Foundation, I help educate younger kids in low-income communities on the foundations of tennis. I also volunteer at my school, offering gifts, food, and clothing to underprivileged children. Currently, I'm focusing on growing as a person both on and off the court, as well as furthering my schooling and improving my sport.
I've been doing a lot of community service hours recently, including getting invited to the 2021 USTA regional excellence team program, where I bagged lunches for individuals and their families in the community and donated them to the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless. At my tennis academy, JTCC, I also volunteered for the Special Olympics.
