Personal Statement
Hello, I'm Gaby Alvarez and I am a very dedicated, motivated, competitive, and mentally strong junior who is looking for a great college to play tennis for. My main goal is to be transferred into a chiropractic school, but I really love this sport and would like to continue my journey. I've won ‘all league’ in multiple sports but have the most passion for tennis. I am currently sitting at #2 and worked very hard to get where I am. I started as number 11 as a freshman but quickly got serious about tennis and practiced everyday on my own with alumni. I made it to number 2 by my sophomore year. In 2019 I won the mixed doubles title at 7.0 In the CRC Fall Open. Besides sports, academics are very important to me because I value my future and I plan on playing tennis even after I graduate, whether it's club tournaments or helping out my soon to be old High School.
