Megan Stottsberry '23 Recruiting Profile

My wrestling journey all started on the football field when my coach told me to come out and try wrestling. He saw something in me I didn't even know I had. I fell in love with the sport and I've had the blessing of using wrestling as an outlet and it's become a safe place for me. When I step on the mat I feel like I'm at home. It doesn't matter if I'm in my garage or across the country as long as there's a mat there. One thing about me is I'm extremely passionate. If I have a goal or I want something I'll work as hard as I can to achieve it. I put my whole heart into my passions, especially wrestling and schooling. I have always been a natural leader even from a young age. I'm a team player and do my best at getting along with everyone around me. I'm a coachable athlete and connect easily with people and find friends where ever I go. I have always dreamed of wrestling in college and I'm excited about what the future holds.
