Hello, my name is Angela Ho!
I have been playing tennis for the past ten years. I became much more invested in playing competitively in the last six years as a result of Junior Team Tennis (JTT). JTT helped me realize, tennis isn’t just an individual sport. It is a team sport as well. In JTT, the team atmosphere combined with competitive tennis also made me realize I wanted to play college tennis. I enjoy being in a team because it motivates me to play my best tennis, and I like supporting my teammates. Being the captain of my school team improved my leadership skills as well. Though I love playing competitive singles, I love playing doubles too, especially at the net. Being a student-athlete throughout my whole life, I have been able to improve my time management skills and balance tennis and academics.
