I have been influenced by many things in my life. Some of those things include, loosing my grandmother, staying strong for others, and pursuing what I want to do and who I want to become. When I was five years old my father had me try to hit with one of his high school players and I was pretty good at keeping the ball inside the court. So, he started coaching me, just like he was coaching his high school players. While playing, I learned that I needed to gain more patience and control than I previously had. Although being a professional tennis payer is near the top of my list, I know that it'll take more patience and skills than I have, gaining that much skill will e difficult although playing in college would be a very important step on the way to playing pro ball.
My academic goals for high school was to be a valedictorian, but my freshman year didn't help with that. When I attend a college, that will be the same goal that I will strive to achieve. I've had one recurring obstacle that I'm still working to overcome, which is the anger I get towards myself when I mess up on the shots that I usually never miss. One of the unique characteristics that I possess is that I am extremely friendly and like to be of assistance to others.
