Personal Statement

Tennis has brought me much joy over the past ten years. I have met some of my favorite people through this sport, and it has granted me many invaluable experiences that have shaped who I am as a person. I enjoy competing hard and pushing myself to the limit, which makes it quite rewarding when I find success. I absolutely love the feeling of giving it my all and coming out on top. So, my wish is to find that feeling in college as well. When I participated in high school tennis, I was happy to find a team of supportive and energetic peers who helped each other through each of our highs and lows. I hope to find a similar team of compassionate, like-minded women who share my passion for tennis, but also with whom I can form long-lasting bonds with. Tennis has become a core part of my identity and I am very excited at the prospect of continuing my journey in college.
