Being a student-athlete, I have learned how to create balance in my life by learning how to manage my time between training and school. I hold myself to a high standard in everything that I do, and I always find a way to make improvements in something that I am passionate about. Creating goals for myself helps me be focused and productive to make progress academically and in tennis.
I have loved playing tennis from the moment I picked up a racket and have always found satisfaction in the rhythm that takes place during a point. I consider myself an aggressive player that likes to be in control of the point. Overtime I have developed strategies on how I can do this, and I use my strengths. I am open-minded and always willing to make changes to further improve my game.
I am also very focused academically and consistently work to maintain my good grades. I also love giving back to my community in various ways such as helping host a food drive, volunteering locally, and joining the ecology club in my school.
My principles guide me through every situation, and I have been raised with the belief that if I am making good choices then good results will follow. It allows me to focus on the steps that I can take to achieve my goals.
