Brianna Garcia '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brianna Garcia. I am originally a basketball player, but I just started playing tennis about one and half to two years ago. The reason why I started playing tennis was because of my little sister who has been playing for about three years. I played my junior year of high school and liked it, but I really fell in love with it my senior year. It was challenging at first because I was always so used to having a team with me on the court, but I quickly learned that was not the case for tennis. Through this sport alone, I have learned so many life lessons. I have learned how to be more disciplined, how to handle defeat, how to handle pressure, how to handle success, and as of right now, I'm still learning how to handle what I can and cannot control on the court and how to respond to it as well. With all this being said, I will say I am a tireless, hard worker and I am always looking for ways to improve my game. Thank you.
