Tennis has always been a major part of my life; I have been playing tennis from the age of 4 and competitively from the age of 12. Playing tennis at the collegiate level has been a dream of mine for a very long time. I have a great love for this sport and would love the opportunity join a college team and continue on my journey.
I moved to the United States at the age of 15 from Barbados. I played many tournaments there and held the number 3 ranking spot in the island. In 2018 and 2019 I was selected to represent Barbados at various tournaments.
On the court my serve and my forehand are my biggest weapons, however, I am not scared of the net: one of my favorite things to do is serve and volley. I am always willing to listen to advice to improve my game and make my team proud. I am very dedicated and hard working and I would love to be a member of your team.
Academically I strive for success just as much as I do out on the court. I work hard to maintain a high GPA and do well in my dual enrollment classes.
In college I plan to work hard on the court and in the classroom. In the future I plan to pursue a degree in biochemistry to fulfil my dream of becoming a Pharmaceutical scientist. I aim to find a college that best suits me and I am open to all possible options. I hope to to be a fantastic team mate and make my mom proud.
