I started playing tennis when I was 7 years old in a city-sponsored after-school program and it didn't take long before I fell in love with the game. When I started competing in Junior tournaments, I realized that I had an opportunity to succeed in tennis, which motivated me to work even harder. As a high school student athlete, I expect to improve my tennis game as well as maintain my high GPA. In college, I would like to continue to focus on my tennis and academics in order to set myself up for a successful life after college. Throughout the past 9 years of playing tennis, I have learned that I am a hardworking and very coachable player. My drive, work ethic and love for the game have made me successful throughout my early career and I strongly believe I can be a great addition to a collegiate tennis program. As a native Floridian my other interests outside of tennis include going to the beach, outdoor concerts, family, friends and church.
