I started to play tennis when I was five, but at that time, I only played for fun. After years and years of training, I started to love tennis. When I was at age 10, 12, I attended some matches. In the matches, I won several titles and made lots of friends. Then, I spent more time on tennis training and started attending more tournaments, domestically and internationally. I gained lots of confidents over the years and found myself really love this game. I’m pretty sure tennis will be part of my whole life.
I have a strong backhand and good sense of positioning myself on the court. I have strong will to fight back every possibility. I’m also a very good partner in doubles. In addition to my skillful volley and strong smash, I can keep emotion’s stable, never complain, and always encourage my partner on the court. I also have the experience to be an assistance coach in club training, as well as during a highest level of national junior team competition.
Academic wise, I’m very self-discipline, and self-motivated. Since I spent a lot of time on tennis training, I studied in on-line high school since November of 2018 from grade 10. Though English is not my native language, I still stick to my studying plan. I completed my grade 11 course on time. I’ve got a quite good GPA score. My adaptability is very good.
I’m a girl full of love. I donated a small amount to Tzu Chi Foundation each month, and as a volunteer to attend activities helped by the foundation. I have a site of many home-less dogs since three years ago, and provided shelter and food to these dogs. Over the years, more than 20 home-less dogs benefited from it. I’m also good at baking, reading, playing guitar, and DIY. These make my life colorful.
I feel like that the best way to balance both academic and tennis is play in colleges. I can push myself in the classroom and on the court, and I’m open at all the options. My goal is to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my parents proud.
