The various collegiate goals I will strive to achieve include the completion of a medical program whilst maintaining a high GPA. I also wish to further my tennis skills while playing for a college team. Not only did I start playing tennis at age 5, but I also began teaching classes, instructing private lessons, and working the front desk at my tennis club at age 16. Within the Peachtree City Tennis Center, I have had exposure to 5 private coaches with different teaching styles, allowing me to develop my own style of play throughout the years. During competitive gameplay, I remain professional throughout each set even when my score is not where I want it to be. At each tournament, I enter with my head high and experience new excitement every time I set foot onto a court.
Even though I would play tennis all night and every day if I could, grades have always been my first priority. I currently allocate hours in my day to focus on school work and will adjust my work/coaching schedule to accommodate if necessary. I have already begun taking college courses at Clayton State University and high school AP classes while maintaining a 3.5 GPA. In addition to my attention to grades and love for tennis, I enjoy working with kids and volunteering for organizations such as the Midwest Food Bank. I strive for excellence in both my grades and passion for tennis, and desire to continue my aspirations as an integral athlete on a college tennis team.
