My name is Michaela Orvis and I have been playing tennis for over ten years. During my high school career, I played both singles and doubles on the Girls Varsity Team. I have also played on top courts at John Newcombe’s Tennis Ranch Academy for the past two years.
I have played other sports, but I think that tennis is where I am able to be in most control of my game strategy and execution. Regardless of whether I’m playing singles or doubles, I am able to quickly adapt so that I am in a position to be the best player that I can be .
I love that tennis has given me the opportunity to challenge myself physically and mentally and to make new friends.
