I have been playing tennis since I was eight years old in hopes to one day play in college. I want to go to a college where there are great coaches that push me to be the best I can be. I want to succeed and will work very hard to make it happen. I take kickboxing 3x per week in the off season to help strengthen my core, become quicker and stronger.
Freshman Year - #2/#3 Singles (Varsity)
Sophomore Year - Switched schools (Public to Private) - played #1 Doubles (Varsity)
Junior Year - #1 Doubles (Varsity)
I carry a 3.78 GPA which includes a few AP courses. I am a fourth year French student and was accepted into the Indiana University Honors Program for Foreign Language. This honor allowed me to live in France this summer with a host family and go to school. This was a hard decision knowing that the summer is when big tournaments are played, however we prayed about it and I had a long talk with my private coach, PA Nilhagen, and he encouraged me to not pass this once in a life time opportunity up. My USTA scores are low due to not being able to play during season and being in France all summer. Please feel free to call my Private Coach, PA Nilhagen, for any inquiries on my skill set, etc...I have now been accepted as an IU Honors in Foreign Language Ambassador.
I want to study film and cinema at college; therefore I am looking for specific colleges that offer this major as well as have a Women's Tennis team with a great coaching staff! I would love to work on movie sets as a production assistant and/or be a director one day. I would also like to incorporate my bi-lingual skills with my film degree and travel.
I am very dedicated athlete and work very hard at becoming the best that I can be. I will be an asset to your tennis team.
