I began playing tennis around the age of 10 and fell in love with the sport. My parents have always pushed me to do my best and work hard but to always remember the importance of good character and sportsmanship no matter the outcome of the match. This principal has shaped me not only as an athlete but also as a person. As I look to the future, my goal is to play tennis at the college level. I am looking for a school that offers good competition and rigorous academics in the field of biology. Over the past 5 years, I have done extensive volunteer work in with a disabilities ministry. Because of this, I am exploring various majors in the field of health sciences with the hopes of integrating the disability community into my future career.
I am looking for a college that meets my needs both athletically and academically. I believe my character and work ethic, both on and off the court, makes me an asset on any team.
