My name is Lanie Brant, I live in Stevensville, Michigan and I am currently a Junior in High School. Playing tennis is by far my favorite thing to do. I fully plan to continue playing tennis into my college years and am looking to join a team that will allow me to utilize my skills and strengths to help the team to be stronger as a whole. My biggest strength is my serve. I have worked hard to make that my strength realizing that if you can win in your services you can win half the games in your set. However, I also have a strong forehand as well as a strong backhand. In High School season I play singles. Freshman year I played three singles, Sophomore year I played two singles and I am planning to continue playing singles this year as well. However, I am very good at playing doubles too. In fact, this past summer my doubles partner and I won two tournaments - my doubles UTR is currently a 5.14. I feel my ability to play both singles and doubles well will be an asset to my future college team. If your team is looking for a person with these skills I would appreciate hearing from you.
